Getting Wild with Fritz Scholder

My 4th grade students just finished these stunning self-portraits! we have been hearing lots of positive comments about these fun portraits from students and staff.

This project was a part of a collaborative Native American Curriculum. Over the summer I had the opportunity to work with An American Indian studies Professor from the UNIVERSITY of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. We designed a Native American Lesson for kindergarten through fifth grade. Through this we wanted to introduce as many different cultures as possible as well as different mediums.
